Ram Charan Tej’s latest project ‘Maerupu’ directed by ‘Bangaram’ director Dharani, was launched at Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderbad today.

Produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain for Mega Super Good Films, ‘Merupu’ will have Kajal as Charan’s pair. The energetic Devi Sri Prasad is in charge of the music. Reminding IndiaGlitz readers, director Dharani has already signed ace cinematographer P.C.Sreeram for this movie.

Speaking at the launch, director Dharani told that just like the title ‘Merupu’ the movie will contain high voltage action. He also added saying that with the response Ram Charan has received after ‘Magadheera’, this movie would not disappoint his fans. Giving the essence of the movie, the director ended saying it is about a youngster who achieves his goal.

Devi Sri Prasad will compose six songs that will see a few dance numbers for Charan’s dance mettle. Talking on the occasion, Charan claimed that his character is unique and today’s youth can associate it to real life.

Gracing the launch event were Movie Moghul Rama Naidu, Megastar Chiranjeevi, D.Suresh Babu, D.Rana, along with the movie’s heroine Kajal Agarwal. Members of cast and crew were also present.
